It’s time for yet another installment in our “When the NBA Didn’t Suck” series. This clip is simply known as “The Flu Game”. It was the 1997 NBA Finals pitting the Chicago Bulls against the Utah Jazz. With the series tied at two games a piece, Michael Jordan contracted the flu on the day of Game 5. With the series hanging in the balance, Jordan could either sack up and carry his team or allow the illness to overpower him and render him ineffective. Give the video below a watch to hear the rest.
